I need a nice gaming pc that will be able to play games like The Sims 3, Spore, and Fable.

I'd like it to be under 600 bucks but I'm pretty sure thats a long shot so just give me the cheapest solution. Please include all the info like the graphics card and stuff too.:)

Thanx

heres my recommended parts i dont have links but you can get em off www.newegg.com

amd anthalon 64 x2 7750 kuma (2.6Ghz)

2GB ram (kingston or a-data are cheap & reliable) ddr2-800

matching mobo

HIS hd 4670 (512mb) with Icq turbo fan

500-550watt psu

atop decorative case with keyboard and mouse

80GB HDD (seagate or western digital)

dvd-rom (any one will do)

400-450 bucks before MIR and shipping and handling. feel free to swap up to say an hd 3870 or a better cpu if you feel its not satisfactory) and you have enough money for say a sweet 19-20" widescreen monitor :)

I dont prefer ATI because they have no PhysX. Better buy GIGABYTE 9600GT TurboForce Edition. And 19" widescreen.....not necessary, better buy an 17" CRT.

He said Gigabyte as in Gigabyte the hardware manufacturer. Also do NOT get an CRT especially a 17" one, they consume too much power, are very big and heavy and they are not widescreen, which is pretty much the new standard even if some don't accept it.

If your looking to BUILD a PC. Newegg.com.

Intel Core i7 965 3.20Ghz.

Intel X58SO motherboard.

Tripple Channel 6GB of Ram. I forget the exact numbers.

Nvidia GeForce 280GTX

I think its a 800Watt PSU (Power Supply Unit)

Segate SATA3.0 500GB Hard Drive.

and a SATA DVD Drive.

All on Windows Vista Ultimate X64.

Thats WAY over your budget but its an example.

BTW. 32bit systems or x86 have a limit on Ram and its 3.2GB so I suggest going x64 for the LARGER amount of ram.

Now if you dont know how to build one.

CyberpowerPc.com

Dell.com (XPS)

voodoopc.com etc etc...

I Personally prefer to BUILD em... they are alot cheaper and you get what YOU want.

Otherwise go Dell.com and an XPS... they are ok when it comes to issues you may run into.

If you want me to help you build one message me on Gamespot. Ill help ya out.

have u already got a pc for internet and stuff but not gaming?(lol stupid question u posted on gamespot) :D

if so take the hard drive, monitor,cd drive, and maybe processor depending on the quality

and just buy the rest of the equipment new

suggestions:

ATI 4890 a beast for under £250 sometimes under £200 on special offer

Q6600 2.4 ghz for around £100 - £150

4gb kingston hyperX memory 1066mhz for around £50 - £60

Hi Power 800 watt power supply from ebuyer.com for £50 - £60 its not a big brand make but im running a gaming pc on it fine and theres lots of gd customer reviews

i transferred some ofmy equipment from my old pc and now i have a crysis killer for under 700 :D

u dnt need much of a pc for sims or spore! maybe a bit more for fable if ur playing fable 2 when it comes out for pc.

u can also overclock to but read up on it first don't go doing it if u dnt no wat ur doing :D

That's a pretty decent list, but the one thing I would steer clear from is a 64 bit operating system, especially Vista. Honestly, if you're looking to buy a PC soon, I'd hold off on the OS until Windows 7 comes out. From what I can tell from Beta it is kinda like Windows XP SP 1 as far as performance goes (which means it is leaps and bounds ahead of Vista already). Just my two cents. 64-bit OS have some compatibility issues with some programs and games, which is why I don't generally recommend them, even for the increase in RAM.
