Can anyone recommend me some good games that do not require a lot. I have a laptop and it is 1.83 ghz, ATI Mobile x1600 256mb. 1 gb of ram.

Half Life 2 will work just fine on this computer .

an ati x1600 is really good, you could run just about any game out now on that laptop. i recommend half life 2, doom 3, quake 4, fear, cod 2.. and upcoming games like quake wars, crysis, bioshock, ut3, cod 4, etc... moh airbornelooks very good as well.

Are you into RTS?

If so you ought to try Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, Command and Conquer: Generals.

They don't have too high of requirments (especially Starcraft)

Oh yeah, and you could check out systemrequirementslab.com to see if games will run on your computer.

and I add Doom3 ROE , S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ,GTA san andreas , Need For Speed Carbon ,The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay(really cool). but I dont think this computer will be able to run Crysis .
