So I bought the Guild Wars Trilogy, Gothic 3, Two Worlds (which I like despite the bad voice acting) and STALKER. All from Steam, so I'm looking for a game thats available on it (which most are)...I can buy one more game, then I'm at my limit.

So I'm pretty much done with getting RPGs (well STALKER isn't really a RPG), but heh...

I'm thinking of buying Battlefield: Bad Company 2 looks like tons of fun, though not the best at shooters, I still really like them. I kinda actually suck at shooters, especially against other players lol... I loved battlefield 1942, didnt really like call of duty (probably my least favorite fps I've played)...other fps games (that are older) that I liked was tribes, tribes 2 and starsiege...but I know those are different. I liked the halo series too, that was probably my favorite singleplayer wise, multiplayer not so much. My favorite multiplayer fps is probably battlefield 1942 and starsiege.

or

Empire Total War (not really interested in Napolean, since I heard there isn't really a "world" campaign, like in previous total wars)..but I LOVE the total war series. Never played ETW...and I'll probably end up modding it like I do the other total war games, if I get this. Unlock factions is probably first thing I would get. But I played hundreds of hours of Rome Total War (my favorite), and many hours of Medieval 2 total war.

So thats pretty much my two choices...can only get one. I'll probably end up getting both at some point...or maybe not, but I have to decide which one I want first.

(edit)

Whoops, forgot to add... or do you guys/gals have a better idea for a game?

If you haven't played it yet, get Deus Ex. One of the best games ever made and it's currently on sale for $5 on Steam, and comes bundled with the sequel Invisible War too. You're practically stealing it at that price.

Bad Company 2 is super fun. Also if you don't have it yet , I recommend the Orange Box! If you have that, I recommend L4D2. If you have that too, then im out of ideas for now.

You could spend $20 and get 5 more games....just sayin'... Deus Ex + Invisible War package on Steam, and The Orange Box (steam key) from G2Play.net.

Mass effect 2. You don't need ME 1. If you want to know why I reccomend it... well play it and thank Bioware for the game. But buy first hand for the DLC (not the Kasumi's meomory one!)

I'm having alot of fun with Just Cause 2 right now. But I bought the disk version from Newegg for $32.99 USDwhen they had it on sale and I couldn't pass it up for that price. It's a third person shooter.

Still it's hard to beat The Orange Box. Just a great deal.

Another change of pace I've just been playing from Steam is an adventure game called Tales of Monkey Island. It has 5 episodes all for sale for $34.99 USD.

Guild Wars Trilogy - why not just going for the complete pack?

anyway I'd go with Borderlands IMO combines both RPG and FPS together - add few friends to play with online and you've got best experience :)
