I want to buy a HD4870 X2 and they are much cheaper from emerican sites. If i bought one from America would it work in England? I don't see why it shouldn't its just that DVDs etc don't. Thanks

Yeah it would work, BUT you 95% likely get hit with import tax.

The shipping and possible taxes make it a little less than worthwhile.

use www.ebuyer.com or http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ they are both are pretty cheap, i think there both also based here in the UK.

I think you find find it tough to find a retailer who will ship to the UK, to much hassle with RMA's and the like.

Good point, that would be way too much hassle and waiting on hold with call center agents who have no clue how to help you.

Just i looked into this a while ago and couldn't find any company that would do it, the best thing you could maybe do is ask an American gamespot user to do it as a favour maybe give them 5 bucks for their troubles?
