I have really big concerns about that.I play my PS3 about 2-3 hours non-stop. After, for example, I played Burnout, where the boost bar have been, now there is a big white mark. It's gone after I leave TV off for about 3 hours, but i'm still worried. Anyone knows better than I do?

Generally speaking the newer Plasma are virtually burn-in proof, save excessive use. 2 -3 hours isn't long enough to effect it. unless I guess its a poorly made plasma. Is it new? I have heard of a need to cure (sp) plasmas, but I don't know for sure. That could be one of the rumors....

It's not broken. Just be conscious of the amount of time you leave a single image burning into the screen.

I would just make sure your contrast and brightness aren't set a little too high as this might explain the quite lengthy image retention you are getting.

I'm not toally sure but i dont think turning your TV off counts as time for the IR to go away.

I am not letting IMAGE on the screen. It's about boost bar, bottom left corner.

The boost bar is a single unmoving (for the most part) IMAGE on the screen. Still very strange that it's happening I'd be worried the TV's defective. If you;re only playing it for a couple hours at a time and this is happening.

I have the same TV just the 42". There should be an option on the menu under SETUP and then choose SET THE SCREENSAVER. Then choose the WIPE option. Leave it on for a few minutes and your burn in should be gone. It should also dissapear just by watching TV or playing a diff game for awhile. Hope that helps.

I play PC XBOX PS2 PS3 only on me plasma tv. Sometimes on weekend I play for 9-10 hours - no burns! The burn in problem just used as a PR for LCD that look like crap.
