Can I change my display settings to 1080i on 360 with this cable

I ask because I have standard cable so I cant change my display settings. So will I be able to change my display settings on the dashboard to 1080i with this cable??

VGA cables don't carry interlaced signals.

Why exactly are you trying to get 1080i?

I have a feeling you have a HDTV that does 1080i and 720p, and you think 1080i will give you the better picture. Is this correct?

LOL! You dont think 360 games run in 1080i? Of course they do. Look at the back of every single 360 game's box. They will run at 480, 720p, 1080i and 1080p!! By the way I happen to own a Toshiba CRT HDTV that only does 1080i and strangely enough 540p! kungfuchaos

No they don't

They run at 720p. Every other resolution you see is unscaled to match the TV. Both Halo 3 and COD4 have been proven to run at >720p
