Uploading a screenie wont show a dead pixel. You can't fix it without replacing the lcd screen. Return it before it's too late, although some stores won't let you return it if it only has one dead pixel.

It's clearly not just a dead pixel, it's a red Demon Lord pixel from Hell!

Check the dead pixel policy on your warranty. It's common to need 4 dead pixels before a company will give you a new screen, although some manufacturers are fine with 1.

It IS possible to fix stuck/dead pixels sometimes, it requires a bit of luck though. Don't try this after reading my explanation (go google it) but you can use a combination of VERY gentle massage (like I said, research this) and also running 'stress test' applications for hours on end. I've fixed my only stuck pixel I had on my screen doing this. Again, if you're interested in doing this, make sure you know what you're doing! Mauling your screen is usually a very bad thing.
