Ha, sorry to repeat a common topic again.. was hoping for advice on what to do with this current PC setup. Could I run Fallout 3 GOTYE and would it be playable? If that Intel video device isn't gonna be good enough, anybody know the most affordable alternative? Thanks! My computer is a Systemax. Bought it February 2009. Its running on Windows Visa Home Basic, Service Pack 1 It has a Pentium dual cpu e222 @2.4 GHz 3 GB ram Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family 32 bit OS 200 free GB hard drive space (dunno if it has Directx 9.0, how can you tell?)

It wouldn't be playable because of the video card, you could probably get this and be fine provided that your PSU has enough kick (if you do not know where to find it, you can check the inside on the side of the PSU unit, all you really need to provide is the wattage.)

you would need a modern gaming gpu, i recommend a 7800 series nvidia, or 3800 series from ati. thats just to play it ok, but it would be better to get sometjhing better.

Thanks a lot for your responses, I'll check out all of these cards. I just remember I still have an Nvidia G-Force 2MX graphics card I bought about 4 years ago that I kept from my old computer. Would that handle the game?

Thanks Luminous.. so I guess I'll need to open up the cpu and look at the wattage specification on the power supply? Do you know how much is enough that I'll need for that card or is that something I have to find in the specs of the card? Thanks!
