do you think ill be able to get a playable frame rate with minimum settings?

It should be playable on minimum and perhaps even medium settings.

Yeah it is a pretty decent port and I would probably say definitely 30fps @ 1280 x 720 with most settings on medium. If you want higher resolutions you might have to drop the odd setting but the game will still look pretty good.

Definitely. I'm playing on lowest settings with a fine frame-rate on my laptop and it's worse than yours:

-Windows Vista

-3GB Ram

-Intel Core2Duo 1.83Ghz Processor

-nVidia 8400m gs video card (256mb)
