can i play spore?

hey guys, i lost my other post so heres a new one, i ran my laptop on canyourunit.com and it said i failed the spore test (meaning i cant play it) and i pass every detail to play spore but cpu speed, it wants 2GHz and my laptop is 1.60GHz, now that same website fails me on games i play just fine like the spore creature creator

here are my laptop specs

2 gigs of RAM

120 harddrive

428 mb intel family chipset

dual core processor (forget which kind)

excellent sound card

i dont wanna buy it if it will be choppy all the time but im hopin it will run fine and most importanly run at all

so am i good or is it a no go, thank you

if you played the creature creator and it worked then it should work when you get the full game. but like you said when a lot starts going on then it will slow down.
