You would have to use an m-PCIE adapter, but the bandwidth would be extremely limited. It wouldn't be worth it IMO...

yes........but the usb interface will slow down the performance so much that it's pretty much a waste, and you won't get much improvment over your HD4000..you could end up spending 120 bucks for a video card and 45 for an adapter and only gain 5% in terms of performance... is that really worth 165 - 200 bucks?

Thats your call.

1. the usb interface is to slow so getting an external GPU you will see mininal if any improvements over HD4000 2. Its an expensive solution since it could cost $250-300 and that with a low-mid end 7750 All in all you are seeing 0-10% perfrormance gains at a $250 budget

If you're truly interested in gaming at high quality I would suggest saving your money for a desktop that can be upgraded easily and relatively cheaply in the future when the parts get outdated, as opposed to a laptop where you have to toss out the whole thing once the parts get dated. As it is now there is no way to expand that laptops capabilities a significant amount that are worth the cost.

Do they really suck? Yes, they aren't going to beat Intel at any synthetic benchmark, and at some rela world applications, but the difference in gaming is negligeable.

that's like saying that you should rather bring an Audi A3 to an F1 race instead of a VW. One might be faster than the other, but at the given terms, both of them are pretty useless.

Well I can game nicely on mine.. :( I mostly play indy games and one or two 'Big Budget" games a year (Dishonored and HitMan) Both of which my laptop can A. Max out with 35-40fps and B.run at 30-35 on medium..
