@dkallthewayy: No video card/dedicated graphics = no go. You'll only be able to play some lower end stuff.

@saintsatan: I've seen a "ultra low graphics" mod in action before that apparently lets Skyrim run well on a laptop. The thing is, the game looks like Runescape when it's enabled.

You can play anything but probably at low resolution/settings and FPS that would give most people a headache. But I dunno, I haven't been keeping up date to on the latest integrated.

@saintsatan: Skyrim runs at 30 FPS (ish) and 1080p. Divinity: Original Sin does seem to run at 720p.

At what settings? Are we talking low or ultra here?

according to the data here:

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-HD-Graphics-Bay-Trail.103037.0.html

No. the level of games it can play looks to be around PS2/original xbox levels of games (so morrowind should be fine). anything newer than that will psoe a problem.

@LordQuorthon: Yeahhh. Not to sound like an elitest or anything but I don't think I'd recommend people play it like that. Skyrim is a game that heavily relies on it's engrossing world. Graphics play a pretty important role in Skyrim, more so than most other games. Can you play it like that? Yeah sure. Are you hurting the experience quite a bit? For sure. Is it still fun? Yeah but I'd probably recommend other games on a laptop like OP's. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (and some mods) might be a good one that would run much better.

Playing Skyrim on Low settings isn't so bad on a laptop screen which is smaller than most PC monitors. More worrisome is the framerate. I don't think 30 fps is sustainable on that laptop unless the game res is reduced to 720p.

Don't forget the little to no lag part.

@jun_aka_pekto: I have not experienced any kind of slowdown. Pop up graphics, yes. Slowdowns or framerate issues, no.

What's your exact CPU? That also matters when we're talking minimal settings.

A car with no wheels can "run". If you can run Skyrim at all low settings at the lowest resolution and get 15 frames per second does that count as running? He should have been a little more specific I suppose.
