Yes that would, but that is not the Toshiba laptop you listed, it doesnt have a discrete GPU.

Thats a very odd place to have it listed, normally I you dont need to look there, they list CPU, RAM, GPU and HDD in the summary specs.

But anyways, it will play fine.

I would also consider a laptop with AMD's new Llano chipset. I personally prefer Intel myself but you just cant beat these AMD APU's in laptops for the money.

Best Buy has the Asus K53TA-BBR6 for $449 which has the following specs...

AMD Quad-Core A6-3400M 1.4GHz APU, 15.6" 1366x768, 4GB/500GB/DVDRW, 1GB AMD Radeon 6650 Graphics, HDMI, Win7HP64

Or if you have a higher budget, there's the HP dv7-6165us for $779 which features the A8 3500m, 17.3" Display / 6GB Memory / 640GB Hard Drive

I spend about 4 months researching and waiting for the right deal when I do buy parts and recently I've been SLOWLY trying to customize a hp pavilion dv7. Anyways, I'd suggest a desktop but if you must go with a laptop, then know this. For video processing, editing or multimedia in general, I suggest the 2nd gen Intel i5 2500. Its cheap for being next gen and its pretty nice. For gaming and extreme stability, I'd suggest Llano at this moment in time. Head to head, Intel takes AMD on single game performance but if you Crossfire the processor's graphics with the graphics installed on the actual motherboard (this is when using a laptop), you're gonna be happy you went AMD. As far as graphics enhancement goes, AMD has your back. Intel 2nd gen does support graphics enhancement but it's pretty obvious they made these chips with Apple computers in mind. It is, afterall, a cash cow.

no you wouldn't...i have a core i5 2500k with a 6950 and even i get only 50- 60 fps average with everything maxed out in sc2. You would have to lower settings to medium and some high.

High with 30+fps is perfectly reasonable and very attainable and would still be playable. Especially since he is not playing at 1080p.
