Let's say I have a game save of Fallout 3 on my PS3. Can I buy Fallout 3 for the PC and use my PS3 game save on the PC game so I don't lose any progress? If not, can I convert it so it will work?

You can easily catch up in the PC version though... The console can do pretty much anything... You can increase your stats to whatever, automatically complete quests, add items to your inventory... You should get it regardless... The PC version is FAR superior to the console versions...
No, sorrry. If you have about 100000 years on your hands you can do it with a 360 but IMO it's not worth the effort, plus I'm not sure if it's even legal.Mr_Versipellis
Huh? How would it be illegal to try doing that? :?

I believe he could be right. Some PS3 games have their saved games LOCKED to that console so you can't carry it over to even another PS3....[QUOTE="True_Sounds"][QUOTE="Mr_Versipellis"]No, sorrry. I see where you are coming from. I don't know, I would have to read through the whole legality contract of each game....and I would rather spend that time playing....lol[QUOTE="True_Sounds"][QUOTE="FelipeInside"] I believe he could be right. Stop trolling man, it would be infuriating if it wasn't so commonplace around here.

I don't think anyone was trolling, maybe I'm missing something. And on topic: no, you can't transfer your PS3 save files to your PC and keep playing where you left it. What you can do is look for save files from other people for the PC version, there are tons.
