link I want to get either AKG 240 OR the K141 MKII but the biggest problem is the cable they use. the cable from the headphone look detachable so I can replace it with another cable. my question is can i use the cable in the link provided with either of the 2 headphones? i would like to know before i get one of those 2 headphones.

Hmm. Well I use a set of AKG k271 studio monitor headphones, from several years ago, and they use that same detachable cable. I would suspect that it's standard for all their sets.

I'd reach out to AKG directly to confirm that the cables will work if this is a deal-breaker (and reply back with the answer in case someone else has the same question). Those are some great headphones. Happy gaming, Boz

i'll give the a email some time. but tbh. im expecting the cables to be only for microhpones. akg does replaceable cord, but they only come in 10 feet and I think 15 feet. i 1.2m xlr cable but that cost about the same price as the 240(doesnt even have free shipping)

That uses a 3 pin female XLR, AKG headphones use a mini 3 pin female XLR.

Also I don't think that 3.5mm is stereo.
