ok, i have a dell. Its a AMD 4200 (so dual core 2.0ghz), 2GB ram, and 8300 GS (128 MB). Anyways i was wondring with those specs can i run Command and conquer 3 tiberium wars? How about Gears of War? UT3? COD4? Bioshock? Crysis? Anyways my resolution is 1440x900, but i guess i can lower the resolution, how will those run?
your setup will easy play c+c3 mines does n its got nothing on urs at ok graphics. no offence but ov noticed on this forum peoples first advice when they dont see the mopst uptoday stuff is gurade to this n this. and other than crysis i think he would be able to play most of them just not on the highest graphics but game play will be just as good.
In my opion bioshok and crysis I wouldn't think those 2 wounld do all that great even at low or even gears of war but with C&C 3 and ut3 those two should perhaps barly work.
I play C&C3 on my Mom's pc and she has a intel HP 3.06ghz single core and 1 gig of ram her graphics card is a internal radeon ati 200 series with 256mb and it wil run low to medium on it.
Now with my pc wich is a amd athlon acer 3800+ dual core 2.0 or 2.2 ghz anyways I have 2 gigs of ram but am only able to use 1.5 of it and I have a geforce nvidia 8600 gt xxx 256mb and I am able to run everything high at 1024x768 at 60hz and the ani thing on max.
I think I run the same kind of rez on my Mom's pc as well.
So getting a better vid card should help out alot and you should then beable to run most of those games at mediuom to high all depends on the card you buy.

Which graphics card do you have?
I was wondering the same thing. I think the only game you will really run decently is C&C3.
