can my laptop run fallout 3?

topic pretty much...i hav an HP pavillion dv6000 running vista. idk if its a stupid question or not, i dont know much about hard ware etc. http://www.pcmech.com/article/hp-pavilion-dv6000-notebook-review/ there's a link if you need to see the specs and whatnot. thanks.

On the lowest possible settings with slight lag? Probably.

I would say most probably not. Even if you managed to get the game to boot (possible), the kind of resoloution and graphical settings you would have to lower to to get playable gameplay would make it not worth playing (or paying for). I suggest that if you want a laptop that can play the latest games, you stretch your budget and/or look for a computer with at least a nVidia 9600 series or ATI 4*** series

Nah, fallout 3 is pretty well optimised; i can run it on high at ~50 fps with my 9500gt. He should be able to run it, albeit at low settings and resolution at 30-40 fps.

edit: D'oh, 7200go /= 7200gt. Disregard this post.

Yeah, but a 9500gt is actually a fairly decent card. A 7200 is not even a gaming card. Your 9500 is ten times better than it. Remember, it is basically an integrated Nvidia chipset, not a graphics card.
