can someone help me find a good mmo

i need help finding a good mmo to play. i love to play mmo's and i dont mind paying if its a good game. please dont say world of warcraft or city of heroes. thx in advance :)

Well, Vanguard:SOH turned out to be a huge disappointmentsoI won't recommend that. Right now the only other MMO I'm playing or would recommend is LOTRO.

As an experienced MMO player from EQ I find the game rather simple. The gameplay is about on the same level as WoW but overall the game looks much better and does have a few unique features. There is a linear story/quest line that loosely follows the books plus added content .Hardly any bugsthat I've seen for a new MMO and it feels very polished.

I'm a WoW addict so it's hard to not suggest it. Guild Wars blows in every way imagineable. Just plain bad. LOTRO is pretty close to WoW, but has enough that is unique to give it a recommendation. I've heard good things about Vanguard, but evidentally it still has a lot of room to grow before being a recommendable game.

If I myself quit WoW and went to a different MMO, I would probably go with Vanguard.

Nothing's wrong with WoW, GuildWars, LoTR or even Final Fantasy XI......butI dont really care for City Heroes
