Can someone recommend me a shooter (info included)

Hi. I haven't played a fps/tps in a very long time and I really want to play one now.

System specs:

AMD Athlon 64x2 4200+

1gb ram

nvidia geforce 6150LE

I got GRAW b/c canyourunit.com said that I had recommended specs for it but when I tried it, it lagged like heck and it kept getting crashing and I wasted 4 hours trying to get it to work. Gave up though.

So looking for a recommendation on a shooter.

I like: shooters with I have teammates (AI or if there's co-op) even if the AI teammates suck, I just like them being there with me.

I don't like: horror/monster/alien stuff.

I've already played cod2, battlefield 2, counterstrike (and source), hl1+2 (didn't like b/c of aliens), dod, warrock/gunz/soldier front (free online ones), freedom fighter, vampire: bloodlines (didnt like)

Can't think of anymore.

I want to play cod4/gow/etc. but I can't b/c my computer can't run it and no, I won't get a new one or upgrade my graphics card. So don't recommend those.

no one suggested Crysis because he can't run it...and there's aliens in it, which he won't like

and the sims isnt even a shooter...

With the specs you have listed I could imagine you could decently run the following shooters.

Far Cry

SWAT 4 - Tactical Squad based shooter based in US domestic environments

Brothers in Arms - Tactical World War II shooter focusing on Infantry Tactics and manouvering.

Medal of Honor Pacific Assault - Cinematic World War II Pacific Theatre of Operations. Simple Squad mechanics.

Call of Duty / Call of Duty 2 - The Hollywood blockbuster equivalent of World War II shooters

Rainbow Six Raven Sheild - Tactical Counter Terrorism

Ghost Recon (The Original Series) - Conventional squad based military operations

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and earlier titles. - Third person tactical stealth game.

Hope this adds a few potential decent titles to the hardware system that you have to work with!

Note: you can minimise gore on the SOF games and play them as regular shooters.

Forgot to mention that I played AA and swat 4 before.

Anyway, I think I'll try Operation Flashpoint next. Should I get OP: resistance or OP: cold war crisis? Which has better gameplay?

There's a pack with both and it's cheap. But if you had to get one go for Cold War Crisis.

can't go wrong with SWAT 4 and it's expansion runs well enough on my old laptop with a radeon 7500 on medium settings.

Edit: didn't see that you mentioned that you've already played Swat 4. in that case, try Brothers in arms.
