I'd like to reduce the price to under $1,000 (If it affects the performance though, I could save up for $1,000+ but I'm kind of on a $700-$900 budget.) But then again,I could mow more lawns.. Anyways, I'd like to keep the i7 Processor and the HD 5770, and I definately want Windows 7 Home Premium.

I'm trying to get the PC build to max Crysis at 60 fps+ but I'd also like reliable, price efficient parts as well.

First off, your mobo and cpu aren't compatible. The cpu is 1156 and your mobo is 1366. If you go with 1156 you won't need triple channel ram either

As said above, that CPU won't work in that motherboard you're gonna have to change one of them. If you decide to go with the 1156 CPU, get a nice P55 board and a solid 4GB kit of memory.

The rest of the system looks like a decent gaming rig, and at 1440x900 that 5770 should be more then suffiecent enough to game on. So overall im liking the system.

Also if you want some more space, you could easily throw in a 1TB drive, as they are on the cheap side these days.

My suggestion for a better overall rig:

NZXT BETA EVO Clas$ic Series CS-NT-BETA-EVO Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case $54

CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply $80

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-4GBNT $70

Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor BX80605I5750 $195

MSI P55M-GD45 LGA 1156 Intel P55 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard $125

SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive $75

Acer G235HAbd 23'' WideScreen LCD monitor $160

My friend, this is what you get for $100 less:

  1. 1920x1800 monitor
  2. 1TB HDD
  3. More customizability on case fans (room for 6 120mm fans, 2 140mm)
  4. Crossfire capability

What do you lose?

  1. A more "famous" case
  2. 2GB of ram you won't be using anyway. 4GB is enough for anyone.
  3. 1-2% loss on CPU performance

Thanks for the recommendation kaitanuvax, (I'm considering this type of build) and thanks for telling me about the CPU and Motherboard not matching, my main concern was if all the parts are compatible with each other.

My last question is, should I go with water-cooling or fan-cooling? I don't mind the sound of a fan too much, but one of my old PCs had an extremely annoying fan, and I'm wondering if that's because of old aging.

And of course, I'm installing LEDs in my case... XD

Definitly go water cooling if you can, you'll see some awesome temps and it'll allow for some epic overclocking. It's also dead silent.(though the fans on the rad could be loud depending which fans you pick to use.)

With this being 100% true. You can get 1366 i7 for roughly the same price, and I would suggest that. I have an X58 (1366) setup and it's really quite nice. Also the ram is awesome. I have the Mushkin Ridgeback kit, and I would suggest that.

Okay should I go with the 1366 CPU and motherboard, should I go with the build that kaitanuvaxrecommended, or should I go with this updated build that I'm editing:
