Can you help me out ?

Hey guys.. I finished oblivion recently and all it's expansions and mods and plug-ins (lol).. I'm kind of bored now, uni didn't start yet and I was wondering if you can assist me in my search for video games to kill time..

I'm looking for something with knights and swords and all that crap but I don't want no gay navigation like in warcraft or lotr etc, I want something with first or third person (something like Knights of the temple) but since Knights of the temple II got 4.1 I was hoping if you can help me find game like that.. Prefferably with blood :P

I don't know if that's doable though, lol.. I searched all gamespot to find a game like that and I only found knights of the temple but it got a crappy review, so...

Please help, I'm getting old and weird.

hmm wait for a month? and get hellgate:london then play the Tempar knight's class... Lots of blood , fast action , and big swords. also you can play other game style if u'd like, otherwise try Lorki , 3rd person hack 'n' slash game, i didn't like it too much the demo that is... , The Witcher is coming out soon that might suit your tastes , Like Oblivion but Apparently better.Sim_1945

That will be out in under 2 weeks. i think its the expansion , although heard it was good you might like it.

Kind of like oblivion but more bleak and dark , unforunatly not a terribly well put together game, lacks in many aspects. Not somthing i would recommend to a Friend if you know what i mean.

Go for Dark Messiah: Might and Magic, it'll rock your socks off... great mix between swords, gory action and magic. It's a bit like the mature version of Oblivion without all the crappy quests. Only downside is the linearity of the game, but you'd only notice by the time you're playing it for the second time (and you will, trust me on this).

That's okey, Oblivion isn't exactly bug-free either and also lacks in many aspects (balance-issues, instability issues and too much boring 'postman-quests', the expension was a bit different, but quests weren't exactly brilliant there either, more of the same actually..). I guess I'm part of a minority here, but I think Oblivion is the most overrated game of like the last 10 years or so, there's not a single magazine that complained about the gameplay issues, the boring quests, some very annoying bugs and so on. Why? Anyways, enough rambling ... games don't have to be perfect to be played for months and months..

Wow,I can't believe you finished Oblivion(aren't there supposed to be like 1500 quests and such),its a great game but I think its going to take me years to finish it- lol. I'll assume you've already played Morrowwind,but there's Gothic 2 and 3, Dark Messiah,Titan Quest (although a bit different than what your looking for)and Arx Fatalis.Ken1a

There are 187 quests, and there aren't that large.. I finished the main quest in 3 days..

Thanks everyone I shall try those games you recommended me, and to the one who said Dark Messiah, yeah, I saw some trailers and it seems like an awesome game and a guy at a store also recomended me that game, I suppose it wouldn't be bad to take a look at it until The Witch comes out..
