hey gamespotters, just wanted to share with a website which checks all your specs and tells you if you will be to run a game. you will need java & firefox, internet explorer or netscape for this but this has helped loads! Click here to go on the site!.

1st you type in what game you want to see if ur computer runs it

seconly click CAN YOU RUN IT?

if this is your 1st time using it a java thing will pop up, press yes or ok

then it will install compnent, if it stay's there for a long time, just refresh the page

then voila, you have your specs & if you can run it. it has 2 tabs, one for minimum & another for reccomended.

hope you find this as usefull as is i did.

Just a heads-up, thats a rubbish site (my opinion), it thinks my 8800GTS is my dedicated card, and says "low settings" to run crysis.

I have known it for years yet I don't use it. I prefer to test things myself.

It's a pretty terrible site IMO. You should just use the raw minn specs and benchmarks.

Theese "can you run it" basicly just find out how much videomemory and ram you got, if you got a dualcore or quad.

That won't tell anything about how good your performance are.

...So if you got the slowest clocked phenom 9500 X4 (old ph 1 running 2,2Ghz) with a 1GB 4350 along with 2GB of 400Mhz (PC2-3200/400Mhz) ram they say you could play the most demanding game very good?

Nah, better to download benchmarks and get awnsers from people that know hardware, my bet is that the PC (as explained above) would have a hard time running many demanding games even at low settings, and it's not at all a decent game machine.

That site has been around for a long time. It's good to check the actual on-box system and recommended requirements, but by no means is it accurate in telling you "how good" your system is.

I haven't used that site for years. My PC can run anything now so I don't have to worry about if I can run something anymore.
