Go to "My Computer" or "Computer"(Vista) and find the disk. It should be called something like WoWInstallerdisk_1 or something similar. Open that up and run the installer.

ah yes i know whats up well look amongst all the tomes and inside there will be an installer icon i think its a picture of a dragon. also i suggest going to the wow site and downloading the full game for free. the game installs as it downloads and u get max speed for ur connection. since wow takes a long time to install its not really a big wait waiting for it to download. also you only need to download the lich king. all the data from the main game and the other expansion are all in the lich king but you will need the code from the wow and burning crusade box to be able to play lich king. you still need to download lick king even if you only want to play the the basic wow game

Hi, I'm having installation problems with WOW and I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a standard WOW key that I bought online and I successfully created an account with it. Then I install WOW from a downloaded version. The installation only takes 10 minutes and the game loads. As I log in an update is automatically downloaded and I need to restart WOW. But if I log in again the same thing happens. So I install the update, which is in the form of an installer. Now the installer is downloading a 3.6 GB file that starts with BC movie avi. I only want to play the standard version until I can afford the BC and WOTLK expansions. Is this install thing normal, or will I absolutely need the expansions to play? By the way, this is my very first time ever playing WOW.
