Two Worlds II. Fable III is a much more simplistic and easy game filled with annoying design choices. Not that Two Worlds II is perfect, far from it, but it's a more satisfying game overall.
I have played both and I would go with Two Worlds 2. I like that is open world and the online is fun with friends.
Playing fable 3 right now. Find it to be ok so far. A lot of the complaints seem to be that it's a rehash of Fable 2and being way too easy. I never played Fable 2 so can't really judge. Game is fun though for what it is.
Own and played both. Get Two Worlds 2, in my opinion its a much better game than Fable 3. I was a fan of Fable 1, and barely got through Fable 2, and played a hour of Fable 3 and quit. Which that is not like me AT ALL. I own and played Two Worlds 1 and got through it fine. So I couldn't recommend Fable 3 to anyone.
I think the simple answer is Fable 3. Half of you guys and gals may look at me as if i'm retarded or even drunk, but i've enjoyed the Fable series since the very first.
Fable 3 is filled with a vast and enjoyable world, it has improved over the second one in quite a few ways and is just a blast to play through. This time around you have much more choices to make which effect the real world.
I only wish it was released for the PC on day one so i could play through it maxed out. I will be picking this up again when it lowers in price. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a fun RPG.
[QUOTE="FelipeInside"][QUOTE="KalDurenik"]TW2... Why? Because atleast TW2 tries to improve upon itself. Fable 3 is a joke. Even the devs think its a joke. TW2 have problems but its mostly due to lack of time, budget. Fable 3 had "high production value" with 234723984728394789234 horrible design choices. Its like the devs had a meeting and took the worst ideas they could think about and added them to the game.KalDurenikDid you even READ his post...? ? Yes he asked what game he should get out of Fable 3 and TW2 (Two worlds 2) One game tried to improve upon it self but is still average. The other game is a big joke (fable 3). Unless he edited the topic and changed something... No he did not? So what are you talking about? I think he thought you meant The Witcher 2.
TW2 = The Witcher 2
yes i guess both seem to be bad games but that was said about RISEN as well, which i found very enjoyable- gonna go for 2 worlds 2This is like asking "do you want to die by fire or drowning?" or "Would you rather lose an arm or a leg?"
Good luck.

I'll third Divinity II. Even the older Divine Divinity was awesome, Beyond Divinity was alright, Never got into it.Fable III definetly. The Two Worlds series is a freaking joke imo. It dosen't get much worse then TW2 in every single aspect you can think of.
Oh and the poster on top of me has good advice. Divnity II is a amazing RPG!

Where as i enjoyed fable 3 it is a joke for 10 hours of game-play not worth the buy to me..
Two worlds 2 is a decent rpg and the quests will keep you interested plus there are dlc for tw2 now...
As others said the reworked Divinity 2 Is quite a good game, I just finished it less then a week ago :P has a great sense of humor and easter eggs ^^
As for the games you listed:
Two Worlds Two: It is not a halfbad game, altho it does have some problems. The main quest is laughable at best, but the open world and often interresting sidequests makes up for a great deal (kind of like Oblivion), It is free roaming, anddespite allit does wrong, it does something really crusually right: It is just fun to play, the game is fun, it might choke on some things, but thefundamentworks.
It is also nice that the bigest Island only opensup to you AFTER you completed the mainquest, which gives alot more to explore whenyoure done, and the MP can be quite fun ^^
Fable 3:While I would not call Fable 3 a Bad game, I WOULD call it a bad RPG, and fairly short too, I think the game lives or dies, with the often over the top British humor, and crude jokes, the fundamentals in this game however seems to be broken, nomatter how much I WANT to like it it just comes off as average at best, and I loved Fable 1 -.-
Although I played and finished both, I would have to say Two Worlds 2. At least the game knows when to be serious and when to throw a joke. The combat is also more satisfying and the game has a really interesting magic system, not easy to get into at first, but fun later on. You can basically combine spell cards into quite unusual combinations (A tornado of Anvils ftw).
The game also features pretty diverse locations, savanna, oriental/asian jungle, depressing swamps and so on. You may also find some characters pretty interesting, especially later on. The sidequests are pretty good as well, as opposed to Fable 3 where they downright stink at times.

Yes, sorry for my ignorance. Honest mistake I thought you meant The Witcher 2 since everybody here called it TW2... Bloody Acronyms !!! Will you accept a COOKIE as a gift?[QUOTE="BattleSpectre"]I think he thought you meant The Witcher 2.[QUOTE="KalDurenik"] ? Its no problem :) thanks for the cookie =) nom nom nomYoutube Two Worlds 2 magic system. I'm buying it when the game comes down in price for just that reason.
Haha cheers :P. Its basically 2 games rolled into one as well, so will probably give you more hours of gameplay than either of those games mentioned (over 100 hours of gameplay to be exact).Fable III definetly. The Two Worlds series is a freaking joke imo. It dosen't get much worse then TW2 in every single aspect you can think of.

You played Gothic 2 yet? If not I highly recommend it if you enjoy Risen, just go into it knowing the graphics are a bit dated.
ok gamers i made up my mind for now it will be 2 worlds 2- if fable 3 prices drop big time maybe then i will buy it!! as for Divinity 2 played it for about 50 hrs and then i got bored and uninstalled it :( played oblivion for 180 hrs then got bored :D that is one game i have played for the longest amount of time hopefully skyrim will keep the game interesting even after 200 hrs poovannaorcbaneD2D did have TW2 on sale for $20 still - check it out and see if it's still discounted there! Having played both games, I'm having a lot more fun with TW2 myself, too.
you should go for Divinity 2, if you havent played that.
The two games you are asking about, are both horrible. If I should choose one above the other, I guess it would be fable, even thou its really really easy and made for a target audience of age 8-12.
The reason im voting for fable, is because of it's "english" story. What I mean by that is, that the story is somewhat decent, allthou lacking a great deal. TW2 on the other hand, got bad voice acting, or eastern european voice acting, and the animations from the characters seems "wrong" somehow, breaking any immersion level there might have been.
