Can't Enjoy Any Other Games ATM Because I'm Waiting on *insert PC game here*

So I'm trying to play some games I've bought, but I lose interest after only a few minutes mainly because my focus in on Diablo III. I've been waiting on this game for nearly a decade, but with the F&F beta just being released and with new info and gameplay flowing in like crazy, it's literally taking all my gaming attention. There are a lot of great games out, but I can't enjoy any of them it seems until I get my hands on Diablo III.

Do you have a game that is coming out that you are obsessing over or have you had a similar experience in the past? Post your experiences. :)

Plenty of games I am eagerly anticipating, IDK why that would cause me not to enjoy the games I have now though.millerlight89

Maybe mine is more unique since the game I'm anticipating is in a genre that is underrepresented in this day and age. The new Deus Ex looks great, but I want to play a hack 'n' slash. Dunno, hard to explain, but can't argue with my apathy for other games right now.

I know what you mean, but I am having a blast playing Deus Ex: HR among other games (minecraft and Bad Company 2) in the meantime.

But games that consume my thoughts currently are: Diablo III and Battlefield 3.

This, I am focusing on 2 main games right now to finish, and enjoying them both very much actually.

1. Bastion (pc) I think I am almost done, I am trying to upgrade every weapon to max before going to (what I think, could be wrong) is the last or one of the last levels. I really enjoy the game, they did a job well done on it in many aspects... Could use some improving, but it was refreshing. Awesome soundtrack, and it fits well with the game.

2. Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga (ps2) I rented it from Gamefly, I have about 8 hours on memory card, (about just over 6 hours of actual gaming, the rest was getting up walking around, stretching.. short breaks and whatnot) I am actually really enjoying it as well. Love the music in this game as well. Most SMT games have excellent music though.

That being said, there are 2 games coming out that will take a bunch of my time as soon as I can get my hands on them...

1. Diablo III (so I do feel the OP there somewhat, but not enough to let it keep me from enjoying all these wonderful games)

2. SWTOR

Dota 2.

Valve and Blizzard share two things in common IMO: they take forever to make their games, but they're always worth the wait. :)

Valve and Blizzard share two things in common IMO: they take forever to make their games, but they're always worth the wait. :)

Not always are their games worthwhile and not to everyone.

SWTOR for me. Game can't come soon enough.

BF3. still playing BC2 while waiting. propably won't even buy any other games for a whole year or something. gotta consider Diablo 3, though i don't know if i have the time for both...

Pretty much this.

However, if you also want to know what game I'm more eagerly waiting for, that would be Guild Wars 2. And Deus Ex HR since I can't find it anywhere -.-

I know what you mean, its hard not thinking about BF3, MW3 and the Old republic, all which I have preordered.

Cant wait for this game, DIablo2 had me so hooked back in the day.

I am still really enjoying some of the games that have come out this year though (Shogun2, The Witcher2, Deus Ex3 and Red Orchestra.. also for indie games: Bastion, Avadon, Project Zomboid and Terraria all were pretty wicked).

Diablo3, BF3 and Risen2 I can't wait for personally :P

The wait for a game never hinders my ability to enjoy other games. SF_KiLLaMaN

Star Wars: TOR.. though if D3 and SWTOR release around the same time then SWTOR will have to be a late start for me. D3.. I'm all in.
