Why on gods green earth are you running Vista anyways???? Did it say anything on the label about running your games better? It will at least be a year or two until they get the bugs worked out. I can only feel pity for those that ran out and bought that OS right after it came out. It took XP a few years until game designers had everything coded correctly. If I were you i would go back to XP.

Why on gods green earth did you respond? I have BF2 and BF 2142 working fine with Vista. Make sure you have updates drivers and you did not give much information. Punkmaster does not say anything about O/S no good ....
You have to change "Run as Admin" in the properties (not just right-click and click "Run as Admin" but open the properties). Works in BF2 and BF2142 as far as I have seen. :)
