I got way too many unfinished games! I really got like 8 games right now I have not finished. I mainly ruined myself on the THQ package from steam, mainly for the DoW franchise, CoH, and stalker, but I'm definately gonna play the other titles on it at some point. (least I hope so....) And yet I havent stopped buying any new games that come on sale! (guild wars trilogy last week). Ug, think Im addicted to spending money on games I don't have time to finish guys, please someone tell me I am not the only one.

P.S. - Thanks for pointing out the 50% off empire deal Jango, I'm prolly gonna go buy it and then wish I had time to play it! lol.

yeah, just take it one game at a time. Start with the shortest ones (DoW is pretty darn short, CoH is next in line, but STALKER is pretty d@mn long) and move on to the longest ones. Take a break if you have to. And BTW, what's FORCING you to finish these games? I understand if you really want to, but I never finished The Witcher, or Tomb Raider: Underworld. I'll get back to both of those in a time of gaming drought, but for now I feel no niggling compulsion to whip the disc in the drive and finish it.

Just ignore the sales. You'll see when you have zero beer money left, that you wish you hadn't bought them.

Yep, me too. it seems like I always want to buy new games or old ones and I always keep an eye for the sales every week, but I never actually beat any games. and I kept thinking to myself that I will, it's been years I never did.... I work all day, got home tired, barely had time to play cuz lots of chores to do.

Games are bought....Beer you rent .......;)

But I can sympathize with the TC....I too find myself buying more games than I have time to start and finish. I think with me, I just as much enjoy collecting the games as I do playing them. And I love it when I come across a really good deal. I remember when I bought a new and sealed copy in the original box of System Shock 2 for 19.00 about six years ago...that was awesome ! ...But I agree with what others have said here, that you need to focus on one game's single player campaign and add a MP on the side for a little on-line action, stay the course till finished, then move on to the next one. I think when you start doing that, you'll get rid of your frustration and actually feel better when you complete a game from start to finish.

COOL..I just noticed this post of mine is #2000....8)

FYI, Empire is a good deal. If I had 30 dollars left in my bank account, I'd still get this. But after this stop! lmao

I sadly have this problem, but there is no way to fix it since half my games are multiplayer oriented, so completing means being the best. Plus, I don't think you can beat the Sims 3.

I have no problem finishing the games I start, I do constantly pick-up new games so my to-do stack is growing larger every month, and I seriously need to quit my job to catch up....

TC, I also share your frustration. I buy way too many games that I personally don't have enough time for. Maybe I like the idea of collecting games rather then beating them. One day I'll beat the games I purchased, it just won't be anytime soon.:(

Yep. I'm playing Warcraft 3 with Civ IV on the side while learning X3 reunion. After I finish War 3 single player, I'll take on HL2 and play War 3 multip alongside Civ IV and X3. Just play only one single player at a time and don't worry about how many multiplayers.
