Until it went next gen (GTA 4)...which means it will have much steeper reqs

I think your only thinking San Andreas... It was meant to be a more 'gangsta' mentality than the traditional gangster stuff...

I enjoy the more Italian Mob stuff from 3 and VC and hopefully 4 will be much like that.

They aren't without their flaws... many game mechanics aren't as polished... but there is just so much to do compared to other games (until they all started to adopt the free-form of GTA anyways)... San Andreas was huge! so many places to explore so many stuff to do other than missions...

GTA is worth its hype IMO.

Its just that the PC versions of Grand theft auto come 5 months after the console ones..

Yeah... GTA works best on pcs...

And though it's nextgen, the graphics are still behind standards for nextgen games.

From the looks of the trailler the graphics look Pritty decent, better than most games that have been released last year.

I only hope it isnt going to be a PS3 Thing and they wait 3 months before they release it on PC and other platforms , they have done that before.

The Thing about GTA series, its not the mission storyline,Cars , Police , side queststhat is in the game but it more of the 'Freedom', the ability to do almost anything. The sense of the Freedom that people just like and that's why they have this hype about it, not many games have been able to replicate this formula as well as GTA. Mafia was good as well just in a different time-line.

See that's just strange, if I were trying to kill time; I would replay a game that I actually enjoyed, instead of playing a game that I thought was crappy.
