capcom prepares for more pc games

these days seeing a company move into pc gaming seriously after disrespecting it via crummy ports or outright ignoring it is a hard and arduous process.. and often those developers & publishers its a long road to redemption in pc gamers eyes.. capcom wants to walk that road and give pc gaming the fight it deserves.

a pc version of a game is always getting recommended by the boys up at the top everytime a new project or current project is getting discussed. imho i dont see a reason why we wont find a day without capcom console exclusives.. which is a pretty costly blow to consolist zealots.

Glad to hear it. I have played Resident Evil 5, Street Fight IV, Devil May Cry 4 (controls could have used some work, though), Dead Rising 2, Lost Planet: Colonies Edition, and they were all pretty damn good. In fact, they are closer to actual PC games than games like Crysis 2, which come from a primarily PC developer. I'm glad someone has enough sense to not deliver shoddy ports to the PC. While they aren't really a PC developer, I'm thankful that they put at least some effort into the PC versions.

lets be honest. other than resident evil 5, all others were bad ports. and i know people liked it but i think resident evil 5 was not a greatgame. street fighter 4 on the other hand was awesome and i am looking for super sf arcade edition

I really don't see anything I like from capcom on PC except RE, lets hope they have some good developmental ideas.

Before they even do that, they need to make good games. After all that wait, RE5 was a disaster and a terribly designed game. Doesn't deserve to be called survival-horror. It should be listed under action-shooter.

good as long as they don't port games. stupid port games only work best on really high end PCs.

Does it even matter? they still port games. that is the modern trend.

now take a look at GTA IV. it was a horrible port. I hope Bethesda won't do that with Skyrim.

I hope this means RE5 will get DLC on pc and Raccon City will get DLC on pc the same day as ps3 and 360

I'm still waiting for a proper sequel to Lost Planet. :/

so far capcom has announced 3 games for pc in 2011: SSF4 AE, Raccon city and Dead Rising 2 of the recor. Pc version of Dragon Dogma and SFXTeken is under consideration, but still no news on DMC5 and Asura wrath pc versions.

That's great. Capcom makes amazing games and their PC ports are always well done.

Some of capcoms games are pretty good..Dont they put out marvel vs that gsme rocks..
