cape in guild wars

it is 2 platnum (or 2k gold) for the cape if you are in a Guild that doesn't yet have one. You could always join a Guild that has a cape, though

Look for the Guild Registration to start a Guild, then go tothe Guild Emblemer to get your cape.

At least this is what I remember, its been awhile. I'm in someone elses guild now.

the register guy is in the main city, ascalon or w/e, also in lions arch/gate.....i havent played the game in a while so i cant remember the names XD

Yeah, it is in Kamadan (NF). I kinda forgot the other towns at the moment. My opinion though is maybe u should get to know the game better before making a guild. I find that the game is hard enough when i began playing GW that a having my own guild would be too tough, but dont let me stop u.

The Guild Emblemer is in the primary city of each campaign (Prophecies=Lion's Arch, Factions=Kaineng Center, Nightfall=Kamadan), and, yeah, capes cost 2k. To get a guild hall, you need a to talk to a Canthan Ambassador (they will be near the docks area in each of the 3 major cities) and ask him to take to one of the islands. Once there you can purchase a Celestial Sigil from the Sigil Trader. Travel to the island you like the most and give the Canthan Ambassador your Sigil. Keep in mind that getting and fully outfitting a guild hall is expensive. The sigil alone is 24k and the upgrades for your hall (Xunlai, merchants, etc) cost 10k and up. The best thing is to ask your guild mates to chip in. If you don't have any guild mates, then I wouldn't really recommend a guild hall, unless you just have the money to blow. Also, a guild MUST have a cape before it can have a hall.
