Usually you'd have intake at the front and side and exhaust at the back and top. How are they setup at the moment?

I have one 120mm at the front for intake and one 120mm at the back for exhaust, i have an 80mm on the side of the case which is currently exhausting as well, when it was intaking, the dust just built up at a stupid rate on the zalman :(

You should never mess with the original air flow in a case, people who build PCchassi's is cleva.. :P they have the design to shuffle air thu the chassi.

But the best is if you have as much intake as you have outtake of air.

And the original ide'a of fans is to move cool air in and as fast as possible get hit air out.

if you have all fans blowing out you have them working agains eachother, they will stop the airflow thru your case.

You should have the front and side blowing in, the back blowing out, then dremel a blowhole for a 120mm fan on the top.

That side fan is important. It blows cool air directly onto the CPU. Open the side every 6 weeks and give the Zalman a vaccum clean.

Front intake

Side intake

Rear exhaust

Top exhaust

Hot air naturally rises so you want the bulk of the hot air being taken out in the direction it would naturally be going anyway so there is less Resistance. This is why having the rear exhaust fairly high on the back of the case and having the fan cut into the top work so well.

Oh please do not vacuum inside of your case... Unplug everything, ground it, and pull the Zalman out to vacuum. I've heard of so many horror stories of people vacuuming inside their case. God knows why they do..

Just for the record, please use the terms "output" or "exhaust." Out-takes are for film.

I agree thats a noob move you are trying t do it the easy way by throwing the vaccum inside your case but thats actually the worst way you never heard of compressed air?
