Do any of you guys think that some mid tower cases are actually considered full tower? and vice versa?

is the difference mainly because of dimensions? what makes a full tower a full tower? and vice versa?

is there a limit or line that tell you that this is a full tower? or mid tower? I see a mid tower that is 22"X8.75"X20.75" and it is larger than a full tower that is 19"X8"X18", was there a misunderstanding in the production line or something? what made the "mid tower" be consider "smaller" than a large "full tower"?

The definition seems to vary depending on region.. or people, whichever. I personally consider a Tsunami Dream a full tower, and it is being listed as both full tower and mid tower on different sites. I also consider a HAF 932 as a super tower.

antec calls mine a "super mid tower". And from what i can tell it is larger than a mid tower but smaller than something like a antec 1200

From what I can tell, it's a matter of height. If there's only enough height for a typical full-size seven-slot ATX motherboard and the PSU, it's a mid-tower. If there's even more height-say, to have more 5.25" drive bays in the front or dual PSUs in the back-then it'll probably be a full tower. Of course, if you bring up a case design where the motherboard's I/O panel and expansion card slots are on the top rather than the rear (Silverstone Raven and Fortress, possibly others), then things get more complicated since length is now more of a priority than height.
