i just upgraded to windows 7 from vista, and as i was installing it, it said that i needed to uninstall catalyst control center, catalyst install manager and dell webcam. i dont care about the webcam, but i am worried about the control center because i feel like i need that to manage my graphics card. it had an * next to it saying that it would be easy to reinstall on windows 7 for the two catalyst items. but i cannot find where to reinstall it. can anyone help me?

Uninstall and reinstall it, and you'll be fine. You can operate without the CCC, it just adds extra functions.

LOL extra functions like every 3d tweak and fan control. With my 4870x2 I would be Fizuckered without CCC. Oh and Win 7 runs the latest version of CCC just fine

go to your run bar and type in CCC.exe

See if that starts it!

Were there any errors when you uninstalled or reinstalled it?

You don't see Catalyst Control Center if you right-click on your desktop?

If it asked you to reboot after the uninstallation, make sure you do, so that everything is properly unregistered. Then reinstall it again.
