Hello guys,

I replaced my mobo from an Asus P67 Sabertooth to the MSI's Z77A-G45. I am trying to get my PC to boot into Windows with my Corsair SSD drive where my OS is installed (windows 7). The problem is that I am getting the message reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media . Keep in mind that I haven't made any changes to Bios settings, everything is factory default. I just want to get my Pc running WITHOUT HAVING TO FORMAT MY DRIVE ;-(( This is a brand new setup btw, I just upgraded from Sandy Bridge to Ivy Bridge. I finished the build yesterday but now I am having this problem. I tried my OEM Windows 7 disk to repair my drive, etc and nothing has worked. Please help!

Must have something to do with the OEM licensing. Found something here.

Another question guys, does Steam save your games like blizzard does? Meaning if I format my drive will Steam keep my saves once I reinstall it?

Yes, Steam uses cloud based internet backup for your savegames. You may have to enable it first...

Nah I sell Pc parts here in Venezuela, where I live. I can get what I spent back and then some by selling my P67 and i7 2600k! Thats why I upgrade every 6 months. I mean, who wouldnt?

Your installation of windows is tied to your motherboard. You can switch out graphics card, ram etc, but if you get a new motherboard you have to have a fresh install of windows
