changing mobo - reformat needed?

well,I have a pentium 4 that's holding my ati 3850 back,and I'm getting a new mobo along with an e7400.my os is in disk c and all my games in disk e,if I reformat disk c,could i still play my games in disk e?or is there a way to change the mobo and not reformat?thanks in advance

yeah just boot off the os disc and chose repair no data will be deleted. Though whenever getting a new hardware (upgrading) it is highly reccomended you do a fresh install

butwhat should I do before that?I mean when do I uninstall my old mobo's drivers and when do i install the new ones..

well you add the new hardware most of the times windows recognize it so it will ask you the drivers from the disc is simple the older driver will still there but aren't going to be used. Some persons said that format could be nice but if you don't want to format or if you have there important info there is no need.
