Hey.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium and would like to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional. Is this easily done? Is it just a matter of installing 7? Also, would all of my installed programs, games etc. and saves be kept through the transition?

Upgrade yes clean install no.

Yes, all your installed programs will be kept through transition. I would however recommend a clean install.

Yes, assuming you are not doing x86 > x64
