Hello all,

I've bought a new 128Gb SSD and I would like to install W7 and make it primary disk. Before I do that I'd like to know how I should install W7 and delete the current W7 from my HDD? Should I backup the current one and install it on SSD or what should I do? Any guide and help will be appreciated.

for now i would just keep your old hdd the way it is so you can revert to that in case of problems and recover any files on there that you still might want to keep. all you do is go into your bios and move your current hdd a step lower, behind the ssd and disc drive most likely, in the boot priority list. then boot up again with W7 disc in the drive and tell it to do a new install on your new ssd. once that's finished you can approach the old hdd like you would any secondary drive, see what files you want to keep or format if desired.
