Check up on R6V2

Just coming to tell everyone that PC tactical games, or tactical games on all consoles are dead. R6 for alot of releases were great tactical fun. Now I only played the Terrorist Hunt but it was bad. First of all, you prolly could stay at the beginning of each map and just kill 75%of the terrorists, the second u start firing the whole map empties out so you fight guy after guy.

Second, wait wtf am I sitting here all night typing this out for this shi tty game. I like it better on the PS3 than pc, and thats coming from ME. I dont understand why game co run tried and true games in the ground.

Its just like wow. Also whats up with Unreal engines always having crappy rag doll physics? Im so freakin pissed I paid for this thing.

Just know this, just because its hard doesnt mean its clever or smart. I shot a guy and because I was shooting him he turns around and starts firing at me, kills me and he lives. They make certain cuts to reality to make it hard. A. the guy should be smart enough no to stand there, b. if i killed him i killed him. and c, they make super bad guys to make it "hard" when in actuallity its just broken.

If the first is better then Ubisoft's downward spiral has literally reached new lows.

Rogue Spear > Ghost Recon > GRAW > Vegas > Vegas 2

Yeah, because the developers wanted to appeal to the mainstream console audience, and they did that by simplifying everything in ever-increasing increments.

Sure, it's the developer's fault for making that choice to begin with, but they wouldn't have that choice to begin with if we KILLED ALL THE CONSOLE GAMERS IN THE WORLD!!!!

personally i think its the best rainbow6 game in years.. the series went downhill with Lockdown and hasnt been very good since. But i really think Vegas 2 is a fun online game, that is a SMALL step in the right direction (compared to lockdown and vegas1).

Just my two cents

Agreed, but it didn't help my argument so I fibbed. I do that.

how did vegas 2 improve on vegas 1? just curious to know, so i can make an informed decision when it comes time (as in when it hits bargain prices) to make a decision on whether or not to purchase it.

To me the online actually feels RIGHT this time around, compared to vegas1 and lockdown where it just felt wrong to me on so many levels.

Vegas 2 seems a little more realistic to me compared to vegas1 and lockdown.

It might not be as good as the series was back in the day, but to me its a very small step in the right direction, meaning the realism/realisitc feel is slowely coming back to the series. I know some will dissagree with me, but i enjoy Vegas 2 online alot more then COD4. At least for me its more on the level of team fortress2, Counterstrike Source and the old rainbow6 games as far as an online fun factor goes.

With all that being said, its still not as realistic as the old games, but still enjoyable to me. I also enjoy all the custimization you can do for your characters. Its a fun team base/realistic shooter that im having alot of fun playing on with some friends. Not to mention the coop campaign is fun to play with a buddy. NOT PERFECT OR OUTSTANDING, but its a fun game imo. Sure the terrorist hunts are flawed, the graphics arnt the best out there and story mode isnt super long, but like i said above, its still a fun game at least to me.

It's not that great of a game. It's a fun game if you enjoy to play coop, but besides that, it's crap. It really bothers me in Terrorist Hunt that guys don't spawn until you reach a certain point in the map. For example, if you walk to a certain spot - 5 guys will spawn and attack you in a scripted manner. You can just walk to the spot, hide, kill the terrorists, and repeat until you win. GodLovesDead

i know what u mean but i hope its a bug cause i sometimes enter a room and then after a sec enemies spawn around me(and kill me cause i cant get behind cover in time). you also cant clear a room with a nade before entering cause the enemies arent there.

hahahaha your nuts, my money is very carefully placed when it comes to games im so broke... i can't just buy games... I'm just getting by on my wow sub, im actually saving money to buy burning crusade and odin sphere for my ps2...
