Clean install of Vista better?

Would it be better to do a Clean install of Vista? and loose everything or Just upgrade from Vista to Xp? like i did?

Ive been having alot of Problems since i upgraded and just wondering would a Clean install be better? since its gets rid of all the Junk and stuff

Hmm i didnt cos i didnt whana reinstall all my games

Can you give me a few reason why a clean install is better?

Well firstly you don't have all the junk that slowly accumulates over every Windows installation.

Also, the upgrade process is never perfect, and some of those problems that you've said could be from the upgrading process.

i dont like upgrading because Windows stores your old OS on your drive taking up space. and eventho i have 250 gigs, i want it all. regardless, with Vista you will have problems unless they have fixedthem. i dont use Vista due to the amount of permission you need to access a program. i use Windows XP service pack 2, but i have Vista Ultimate here as well
