[QUOTE="Sandro909"]How long has it been? I'd wait up to an hour just to make sure all of the water's evaporated. Some could have gotten inside the heatsink.kodex1717Dude, an hour? I'd wait a few days.
Well as long as it's in a well ventilated area, it usually doesn't take that long to get rid of that little water.
[QUOTE="Sandro909"]If it's stuck under the cooler with no light hitting it, it won't go away in an hour.Well as long as it's in a well ventilated area, it usually doesn't take that long to get rid of that little water.

I know that, I am going to make it better by making it not be cut-off.This is ridiculous, I had no idea people would be this amazed by this. I mean it's a bit strange, but I've heard of it before. There's nothing wrong with washing it in water. However I would definately leave it out for a couple of days at least. It's also best to use distilled water and don't dry it in direct heat because the contraction and expansion could cause problems.Zaber123
Argh you beat me! :P
Its actually relatively safe to wash electronics in water, as long as (like stated above) it is pure water (minerals could collect on the card otherwise) and the item must dry COMPLETELY. If theres any water left it could short out and fry the card...

Certainly new to me

Well I have, I remember someone had their router damaged by a leak and they managed to clean off all the minerals from the water, let it dry and it was fine (I think :P)
