I always thought buying the spray can and spraying the can all over your pc once a month was enough for maintaning your PC dust free, apperantly not.

It all started when my pc would shut down whenever I played games. So I immidietly ran SpeedFan to check...and yeah as soon as i started playing a game my processor would overheat like nuts. I thought my fan was where the problem lay so I decided to check it out. Then I saw this.

All clean =]

I strongly suggest vacuuming the room your computer is in fairly regularly.

My sisters CPU heatsink looked exactly like that. It had a complete blanket of dust right under the fan, I'm surprsed her CPU didn't fry, it was boiling hot. I vaccum my room often, so there is not much dust that collects in my PC.

if you're not a smoker, than that will make it even more mindboggling how it got that bad...It looks the cpu grew a coat of it's own, natural fur.
