Clear Sky's and it's glitches

So I've just got my self a copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R: clear sky a prequel to one of the most underrated games, I sadly missed the first one and went straight for Clear Sky.

Im finding it hard to believe that a game in 2008 could have so many issues I've noticed a few minor things such as characters bumping into each other and then not moving away from each other to some rather "SERIES" ones such as the game completely crashing and then closing down only to find one of those "report your bug" applications that pop up after a random crash occurs whilst your playing the game.

... Thats not the funny part that got me a bit angry its the fact that the BUG REPORT program comes up with an error!!!111:

Don't get me wrong its a great game, but damn does it need a patch.

Unfortunately, that is the case with most patches for games. It will say in the release notes if and what previous versions are compatible.

Got the game on saturday morning (uk version) - played it all Saturday until I was exhausted and had to sleep. One single crash and this was without any patching and likely due to installing the game and dodgy setpoint and not bothering to restart.

Have not noticed any bugs. Few ocassions of ai walking into each other and thats it (remember this is not cod4s rollercoaster of scriptage). Same happened to me in SoC - must be lucky.

Game is, like its predecessor, underrated/misunderstood. Bought 2 copies to support this kind of game. Atmosphere is still intact.

Dont be spooked by the reviews and reports of bugs. If you enjoyed SoC - give this game a chance.

Bought it and now regret it soooooo much it has driven me to insanity

stalker was great game and i persisted with it but this one is getting worse and worse

after all the problems i had with 1.3 patch

instaled 1.4 and now i have screen saver that cost 34.99

loading loading loading syncronising....................and on and on :cry:

I'm had quite a few problems with Clear Sky crashing and 1.01, decided to start again with 1.02

But anyway I submitted one of the bugs using the email submission. Came back with postmaster, cannot deliver. Hopeless.

ya lol my clear sky is patched to max right now...but i cant figure out the problem right now...i am at patch 1.5.10....everytime i go from red forest to military warehouse it crash's....like how his is in the pic below....sure it has no problem to load the game...but when it loads the military warehouse it blinks and says error!!!! can anyone help me figure this out? my email is ***removed by moderator***.....you'll be my very best friend if you can ;)

so joined Gamespot so i could access patches via the game's download page on Gamespot.

well do you think it is problebly a mod? cuz i got a mod that respawns guns and stuff lol and i have float 32 mod...and a gun add on..revolver and rifle i think...and i was thinking i probebly have to start all over to prevent another crash? i got this sorted and it activated the mods properly...$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\...but still crashing...my computer is running it like nothing...a 3 gb video card...nvidia geoforce 9800 gt

p.s. l.o.l....someone should come up with a gun mod for clear sky...m82 50 caliber barrett...it is possible and would be very plesent to see happened :D
