That's probably WinSxS' fault. It's a folder where Your system stores old versions of dll libraries and some other stuff.

As far, as I know, there is no way to delete it, because You can damage the system itself by doing so.

Windows 7 is in itself about 15-20gb so that is probably what you are talking about. If not, it might be file page. I know for me, my file page defalted to being the amount of ram I had installed. I noticed my ssd was abnormally full and checked and my file page was set to 16gb! I would try shrinking or disabling file page.

i had the same problem on one of my ssd's. get the program "Folder Size" its free and it scans your disk telling you what folders and files are taking up the most space. if you play a lot of pc games your game saves are probably being saved on that drive and they can take a lot of space. also there is a big file in windows (cant remember the name but it was like 8 gigs) that doesnt really do anything and can be deleted.

the name of the file is hyberfil.sys . it backs up your memory when your system is in hibernation. the file is as large as your memory (8gb mem = 8g hard drive space) so this can be a big portion of a small ssd. you can disable hybernate and delete the file.
