clive barkers jericho

personaly, i think there is way too much hype about this game. i mean, sure its good if you have good graphics/effects, but they arrent everything. i buy i game because of game play. how the story plays out, character depth, controls, and obviously, if it suits my desires.

the main thing that really brings down jericho's potential is the time button combos. anyone agree?

Personally I love time button combos and I think it makes a great addition to the game. It's always fun to watch what happens, except in spider man 3, that was just stupid.

The only problem is that time buttons don't seem as right as when they are on a gamepad. That of course you can say is preference. But my gawd, there will never be any button combos as good as fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy). My heart honestly started thumping fast and it was just amazing. They really pulled it off nicely.

... OH RIGHT, JERICHO! Yeah, nice demo. My only concern is story. Clive Barker got lucky on Undying but his movie/book career isn't exactly that sexy.

Really? He wrote and directed Hellraiser, which was huge. His books were awesome, I haven't read a bad book from him. I really enjoyed The Great and Secret Show, Imajica, The Books of Blood serieswere very creepy, Everville, TheThief of Alwaysand Abarat. He is a best-selling novelist, and I can see why.

Just so you know, the demo takes place halfway through the game. That's why we are in the dark about what's going on and why we are there.

i thought the hype surround bioshock was too much. until i played it. i now think the hype was totally deserved, and it was the hype that helped the game sell. i wouldnt have played if it wasnt so hyped (i know i overused the word hype)Kh1ndjal
