So I've been playing Company of Heroes online for like the past 3 months and I am still loving it. The game just looks and sounds amazing and I feel that there is so much strategy involved.

But today I just started playing Command and Conquer 3 that i borrowed from a friend for a bit and I just couldnt really stand the game. It felt generic even with those nice fancy shmancy cut-scenes and I really could not get into it.

I mean i first got into RTS games with Command and Conquer games but now it just feels dull. Does anyone else feel the same way I do? If not with CoH but at least with other RTS games.

im a huge command and conquer fan and i appreciate EA for bringing that old feeling of nostalgia back, but like you said, there isnt much depth to it. nonetheless it is a great game

Company of Heroes is a game that, IMO, has completely changed RTS. in fact there was a thread on relic about this, this morning...

I love CnC, but Relic's RTS games are my favorites now (CoH, and DoW are at the top of myfavorite game's list)

I agree with everything DDX2 said. I myself am a massive Command and Conquer fan, but Relic are my favourite RTS developers now.
Their RTS games are at the top of my favourites list. (Company of Heroes, Dawn of War and my homeworld).
Homeworld, has possibly one of the best storylines I've ever seen. (In and out of gaming). An excellent game too.

I realy enjoy both games. Company of Heroes for its graphics and sound, C&C for its story and style.

Sorry if I offend anybody here but I personally hated C&C3. The single player was pretty good but the multiplayer is lacking hugely. CoH is pretty sweet online, however, so I preferred it.

I gave up on C&C a long time ago. After following the Red Alert series for awhile it just seemed like refried beans after each release. I like COH very much and don't foresee going back.

i prefer supreme commander simply because i like the massive scale and the amount of units you use and the fact that you actually build a base unlike coh, however the battles in coh are some of the best and the most fun ive had in a strategy and it does leave c&c3 looking a bit too simple. its fun, dont get me wrong but coh takes the rts genre to another level.
