CnC 3 or World in Conflict??

Which one should i get???

Well... the thing is that it really depends on what you like. I liked both games, so I got both. They are very different games. If you like the regular, base-building resource-gathering RTS, then go for CnC 3. If you like a faster paced RTS and dont mind dropping the base-resource aspect of the game, go for WiC.

On a side note, it you are only interested in the eye candy, definitely go for WiC.

Well I'll eventually get both but I'm just gonna get one for now

I def lean towards gameplay instead of eye candy

does WiC ever seem roadblockish where yur dropping units and they die and you do teh process over and over wthout progess?

The title was very clear... WiC or CnC3 ????? Thats not hard to read at all.

I would go with WiC. Overall it's just a better game, at least for me. I like fast-paced styled games, especially if it's an RTS. If it's slow paced then it's too easy, but a face-paced RTS makes you have to move a lot faster and be thinking ahead about what you are going to do and what not. It just keeps your brain processing information and thinking and I like that in a game.cos_vanquish

CNC 3 is one of the biggest most overrated pieces of garbage ever made.

Seriously the people who enjoy that game must have IQ's lower then 80 as it's perhaps the more repetitive, imbalanced, shallow game ever made.

CnC continues its saga for the traditional RTS genre kind of play

WiC offers us a new breed of playing RTS gaming.

CnC=EA game which means bad support, lots of overpriced expansions, tons of bugs. All for an OK, at best, game.

WiC=Developer that cares about customers which means patches and more content. All for a better than OK game.

Demo, but I'd really consider Company of Heroes now too. It's $30 for the original and $40 for the standalone expansion. I really love all three games, and if you can, I say get all of them. If you want a real fast-paced action all the time, get WiC. If you want traditional RTS but still exciting, CnC3, if you want a really deep game that will get you hooked, CoH.

I will say however, that CoH games can take upwards of 40 minutes and longer while the latter will usually take little more than 20 at most. I'd probably go with WiC, then CoH, then CnC3, but I really love them all. You also probably get more for your money with CoH since it's only 30 now and probably is worth like 80.

C&C 3 is the most bugged C&C game ever, the online is still messed up with errors, balance issues, etc. The game is just shallow, and lacks depth. Gdi and Nod pretty much play the same. the stealth detection system s*cks. This game is just spammy and you can rarely counter the spam.

WIC is just a wonderful game with pure tactics. BUY WIC!

Well I've played the demo fo WiC today

not bad although the camera controls still feel awkward to me

I'll try out the CnC demo tonight and see how that goes

So far its looking like WiC then CnC when they finally get all the bugs fixed and online is stable

I've thought about CoH but i rellly dont like the whole control point all day thing too much
