Wow, I'm the only one that voted Tiberium?
LONG LIVE KANE
PEACE THROUGH POWER
Seriously though, the Tiberium series kicks ass.
i would definitely have to say the red alert 2 universe. i just love the fact that it has more relatable events and storylines with the whole going back in time and changing ww2 thing, i also felt that the gameplay was although incredibly similiar also alot better.
kane is a mad villian though, however i loved tanya in ra2, even if it was just cos she was smokin hot lol
Ooooh tough question. Its like asking do I like chicken or do I like eggs better...both come from the same source, but both are so different and so deliscious.
Red Alert 1 is problably my favorite, and it had awesome expansions, so I gotta say Red Alert universe is my favorite. Props to the Tiberiu universe though for making the RTS genre popular, though.
did anybody like the fps of command and conquer? lol, its one of my guilty pleasures.:DMinglis
It was terrible,,, but for some reason it was just fun to play!

Oh ya, that game was insanely fun. Its funny because I knew it wasnt quality but...I just couldnt help myself! It wasnt horrible tho, either.

I liked Renegade because it gave me the first experience of seeing a Tiberium harvester from close range! :D
..and then BLOWING IT UP! AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHA!!! Cry some more, little harvester! Good ol' ion cannon beacons, too. And C4 charges.
we have to pay homage to the tiberium universe becuz it and dune 2 shaped RTS as awhle but the red alret universe had amuch
more intresting story line units and gameplay . although i love cnc3 and i play it for hours and hours online i wished they make a red alret sequel instead
Btw, I read somewhere that Red Alert and let's call it the "Tiberium universe" were not two different things when Westwood made the two games. Red Alert is happening before the first C&C game in their fictional timeline... i think... :)varpad
Makes sense since we see Kane at the end of Red Alert...definately a possibility since Einstein went back in time to kill Hitler why couldnt Kane steal the tech and go back in time and act as the Soviet's puppet master?
Actually, if you think about it, it makes a lot of sense.
As the Allies, you essentially played NATO. At the end of Red Alert we assume the allies win, and the soviets lose yet theyre able to keep their sovereignty. In addition, we see Kane at the end of the game.
Now, in Red Alert 2, Europe and America are challenged by the Soviet Union again. In this conflict we again can assume the allies triumph. Now here is where my theories start: this time, the allies decide to split up the Soviets, take away their power, and form the GDI. This leave Western Europe, America, and other rich countries as the GDI, and the rest of the world as poor masses bitter at being abandoned. In steps Nod, at first a cult organisation that soon gains power and eventually challenges GDI for world supremacy. Perhaphs Kane planned both conflicts of the "Red Alert" universe?
