Red alert. It isnt as serious as the tiberium universe, which suits the game. plus it has tesla coils. you can't beat tesla coils.

Wow, I'm the only one that voted Tiberium?

LONG LIVE KANE

PEACE THROUGH POWER

Seriously though, the Tiberium series kicks ass.

I would have to say the Red Alert Universe as well, like the guy above I'm partial to the Tesla Coil. Now, what universe would Generals be in? Would it be the Red Alert Uni, or is it more like the BF2 universe?

Tiberium Universe. Because it's a more original story, than the Allies versus Soviets thing...

I prefer the CnC Tiberium universe for 1 main reason.

-Kane

Though if it was all based on gameplay then it would be a much harder choice. Probably red alert in that case.

i would definitely have to say the red alert 2 universe. i just love the fact that it has more relatable events and storylines with the whole going back in time and changing ww2 thing, i also felt that the gameplay was although incredibly similiar also alot better.

kane is a mad villian though, however i loved tanya in ra2, even if it was just cos she was smokin hot lol

Tiberium universe for me, although i love the red alert universe too, but the tiberium universe is just far more exciting and interesting. Although red alert 2 had the best FMVs yet. mmm TANYA... :P

Ooooh tough question. Its like asking do I like chicken or do I like eggs better...both come from the same source, but both are so different and so deliscious.

Red Alert 1 is problably my favorite, and it had awesome expansions, so I gotta say Red Alert universe is my favorite. Props to the Tiberiu universe though for making the RTS genre popular, though.

Btw, I read somewhere that Red Alert and let's call it the "Tiberium universe" were not two different things when Westwood made the two games. Red Alert is happening before the first C&C game in their fictional timeline... i think... :)

Makes sense since we see Kane at the end of Red Alert...definately a possibility since Einstein went back in time to kill Hitler why couldnt Kane steal the tech and go back in time and act as the Soviet's puppet master?

Actually, if you think about it, it makes a lot of sense.

As the Allies, you essentially played NATO. At the end of Red Alert we assume the allies win, and the soviets lose yet theyre able to keep their sovereignty. In addition, we see Kane at the end of the game.

Now, in Red Alert 2, Europe and America are challenged by the Soviet Union again. In this conflict we again can assume the allies triumph. Now here is where my theories start: this time, the allies decide to split up the Soviets, take away their power, and form the GDI. This leave Western Europe, America, and other rich countries as the GDI, and the rest of the world as poor masses bitter at being abandoned. In steps Nod, at first a cult organisation that soon gains power and eventually challenges GDI for world supremacy. Perhaphs Kane planned both conflicts of the "Red Alert" universe?

red alert. Tiberium was alright but it felt rather small small to me. Also I love red alert and having navy's... Don't know why they took them out in tiberium.

Its all about red alert 1 (my fav) and building a fleet of battleships. (and tesla coils lol)
