personally, I'd pay $50 for TF2 alone, but if you don't like that kind of multiplayer, I suppose CoD 4 would suffice (you did play HL2 and Episode 1, correct?).
Orange Box has a lot of better value I was also in the same situation in the end I decided to buy Orange Box over COD 4. I'll say
COD 4 is an Unforgettable experience. But Orange is an Unbeatable Classic Collection

i was considering the the orange box, becuz although i played half life 2, i never owned it and would like to play the mods asscociated, but i'm still stumped... OH WHY do such amazing games have to come in existence! Oh the humanity of trying to decide... thanks anyway.. but i cannothave both... each costs 70$ where i live!
both are great games and i really think u should own both
as to which ones better the oj box hands down offers a better single player experience with both quantity and quality. COD4 has a good singple player to that is well polished but to short.
as for multiplayer both are great so i'm gonna call it tie.
