could i play it with xbox360 controller as far cry 2 or not

a keyboard and mouse offer a helluva lot more precision and ease of movement than a gamepad.  Srsly, y use a gamepad?  First off, the game doesn't support it, and ur just gonna get urself killed playing online with 1.  If ur gonna use a gamepad at all for a SHOOTER, then go back to playing on consoles.  Srsly; y?

I hope you are agreeing with me and don't think I use a gamepad. K/M is the ONLY way to play shooters.

I have just recieved this game for christmas, and although not my most favourite of genres, seeing as I've heard a lot about this game decided to give it a go. So, I have removed the wrapping, installed it, browsed to find some settings to configure my 360 controller, but can't find anything to do so. The only reason I have got this far, and not asked for it to be returned, is because it states on the back of the box "Supports Xbox 360 Controller for Windows".

Having to use a combination of a controller and mouse wouldn't be so bad, but it's been many years now since I've had a Spectrum, so having to use keyboard controls for all movement, including having to use a mouse for viewing is quite difficult, and not something I wish to spend hours trying to get used to.

So I will be returning the game based on the fact that it doesn't actually do what it says on the box.

I hate when people say it.. Jesus, someones just prefer the xbox360 controller, especially if you play on a big lcd.... anyways, does it still lacks support for xbox360 controllers?
