The reason I mentioned WAW is because COD7 is being made by the people who made COD5:WAW.

I own the last 3 COD games and I just had more fun with WAW so Im definatly looking foward to COD7. Donno if ill buy though, well see.

It looks like another Call of Duty game. Take that as you wish.

Until I know that this game will have a good single player campaign, reliable, balanced multiplayer, and free (or at least reasonably priced) DLC, I'm not sold on it. The previews haven't really shown me anything to alleviate my concerns yet, either.

I agree , Dedicated servers, MODs source, and like u said , reasonable DLC. ANd Not Reselling OLD DLC.. How ridiculous was that? To sell us maps that were from 2 games ago ?

I might buy it, MW2 sounds like hacking is a bit too much of a problem so I might skip it for BlackOps. Although i did play WaW and the developers seem to be quite a lot less talented than the developers for Modern Warfare.

and this is right. they go and make pretty cool trailers and some nice screenshots. everybody thinks Hey this new game looks sweet! meanwhile its just re-skinned call of duty again.

If u havnt purchased MW2 then u did the right thing. The rest of us have had to suffer. The lack of Dedicated servers does suck - But not near as much as the common Hackers that have become a steady Normality with the game. However, its such a good game - that ur still drawn to play it though , and try to get as much out of it as u can. But since u dont have it - u dont have to suffer :)
WaW though, I really enjoyed that game. Not quite as much as MW-1 , and i found myself revisiting it Quite often...But WaW certainly had its moments though. I do miss the Zombies . . :P

I'm not sure. it looks again like they are just going to make a copy of MW2 and change the setting and weapons like they did with WaW. I want a different CoD game. A CoD game with different gameplay and different mechanics. Until that happens, I will not buy a CoD game. Recycled games are the worst.

So did I. When Activision started making Infinity Ward make games they didn't want to make, the team lost some of it's dedication.
